Truck Festival 2025, Zodiac West Gate — this wasn’t just where people entered the festival. It was where real collaboration happened.

As the Gate Security Supervisor, I had the privilege of overseeing a dedicated team of security officers, search teams, volunteers, and K9 units. Together, we created a safe, organised, and welcoming space for thousands of excited guests arriving each day.

This blog is a behind-the-scenes look at what it truly takes to run a festival gate the right way — with structure, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to safety and service.

My Experience

One team, one entrance, one mission: safety with service.

As a Security Supervisor at Truck Festival 2025, I was responsible for managing the West Gate Search Team — a frontline crew made up of dedicated security officers, dog units, volunteers, and staff from multiple companies working together.

My role was more than managing shifts and search lanes. It was about making sure people felt safe the moment they arrived. That meant briefing the team, keeping morale high, staying alert, solving problems fast, and making sure the flow of people stayed smooth without compromising safety.

We weren’t just doing checks.
We were welcoming people to their weekend — with professionalism, presence, and purpose.
